WonderMill or Whispermill is Clogged; Mill Wants to Run But Shuts Off
Your mill is likely clogged. Hold the mill with one hand and turn it upside down; using the palm of your other hand tap firmly a couple of times to dump out as much grain as you can. Now turn your attention to the opening where the tube of the canister connects to your mill. Use a small long instrument to rake out all the compacted flour, you can then turn the mill on it's side with the opening downward and rap it firmly a couple of times to shake out more flour. You may repeat the above steps if necessary.
Take your mill outside (avoid moisture, so not on a rainy day) and plug it in without the cannister attached. Press the reset button on the underside of the mill and try turning it on. If it comes on, allow it to blow for 15 - 20 seconds or so. If it does not, repeat the steps above to clear the grain and impacted flour, then try again.
If you cannot clear it on your own, call or e-mail us for additional help.
