Hand Mills

We recommend the electric mills first, then the Wonder Jr hand mill, then the Country Living hand mill.

Both hand mills will mill about the same rate, but the Wonder Jr can also do nut butter, and costs less (please read the descriptions for each on our web site). The Country Living is made in the USA. Both mills have options to add electric motor kits (we do not carry them).

If you're getting it for preparedness, the Wonder Jr is fine. If you are making bread daily AND want to be prepared, consider an electric mill (plus a small generator for the preparedness aspect). In the past, we have sold many of both hand mills for preparedness, but most people who want to make fresh bread part of their daily diet purchase an electric mill.
